Coming from Bkool I find the Zwift races confusing. How does one see current position. I can't even seem to find out the race distance.

You will be one of those at the front LB so i think they will be looking for you! For time being you will have the name of race in your title so "LBHIFI( insert say ZSUN A and the race) That is all set to change to make it easier to see. Actually if Rick is around he can probably give you a better answer. Then you will be able to go to Zwiftpower or Cycligent virtual rankings to examine and compare yours and others performances.

As an aside, suspect performances are already flagged and can be flagged by users/competitors so your Pep's etc. will struggle.

The racing amongst us lot and the craic that goes with it is great and keeps me here but the inconsistency in a users turbo performance, let alone between his/hers competitors and other users bkool turbos is striking and it only really hit me when i started to ride in zwift more. It is not necessarily a better platform but because it wants to become the platform of choice for training and racing, huge efforts are being put into ensuring accuracy of power for all different turbo types and power meters. Hence provision of power curves for non smart trainers, the use of zwiftpower etc in races so that competitors can assess performance more objectively and, crucially, allowing powermeter use alongside dumb or even smart training. Why the Feck wont bkool allow this?!? Zwift are doing nothing new-TR were already doing this for training purposes. Turbo producers try to ensure their trainers perform properly and measurably in Zwift. Bkool wont/can't even ensure their own trainers perform reliably and consistently in bsim! And they have zero interest in ensuring others companies trainers can compete in races in the bkool world. Sadly it does not matter. Racing on Zwift is huge. The events module is overwhelmed with races of all kinds and for all types/abilities including rabbit and hare chases up Watopia mountain. Soon, a race organiser will be able to set up a password protected closed race so we could all race each other again, and with the option to hide other users on the course or have them their BUT they wont be able to see you. I think i have only another week or so of my bkool subscription left.I hope to see some of you on the other side at some point. You will see Rick and Ryan, and quite a few others that used to ride regularly in bsim.Or for real life climbs and rides I might see you in BigVR or one of the other competitors that will snap ever more at bkool's heels. Put simply I think bkool are fools if they don't address the issues that undermine such an initially compelling hardware and software combination and embrace other trainers and powermeter integration.

I like zwift but i find 1 lap of a route enough as it doesn't hold my interest for much longer than that, but to be fair im not really a circuit type person don't even like watching circuit racing on tv too boaring, i dont know how people can do 30 miles plus on zwift.

In the future if there was enough cyclechatters on zwift for circuit racing then that would be different, but as im getting into my running again im finding the running feature on zwift a huge draw and tempted to get a treadmill of ebay for it, soon as they make it a permanent feature it would be awesome.
On big ring vr there having a poll for the next rides to film and I've voted for the Belgium classics ^_^.

Where was this siren call before I started removing the super cooled superconductor wire from my MRI scanner to rewire my Bkool unit?

The standard of ranting really has been of a high quality recently but this one deserves special mention, wel done Bob! ^_^

Seriously though it's very hard to argue with anything you said and very well said it was in my opinion too. I can only assume it's a matter of time before we all migrate to zwift, the password/closed session thing obviously suit us welll. Time will tell...

It's supposed to be Banff, but so far I only have Team Blue (Bridgy, Bill, Lars and yourself) so not sure it's going to work.

Was planning to start the warm up at 7pm, and the first team at 7:10, but only if we get a few more riders confirming...

Otherwise, might be worth running a chaingang or WC?

Cheers for that Breedon. I haven't looked at Zwift but what you have to say here would put me off. I do like the variety of Bkool ans would soon get bored of a circuit rammed with cyclists who mean nothing to my ride... that make sense?

I hope Bkool get their act together, I shudder everytime they update.... one step forward two back.. It does look like they've fixed my Garmin real-world uploads .. it worked today..
