5pm is too early for me to join any live race I'm afraid, going to try sc stage 1 later although the way my legs are feeling I might not be doing any, they ache like crazy and I've been wearing safety boots all day and they feel like bricks on the end of my feet.

For those who are interested, I got the job (2nd interview was yesterday) Don't start until 7th Aug so still have a few weeks of extra cycling to keep my cycling fitness up Apparently 'I'm too sexy' was the song to sing at an interview

Employed is good, unless your Jim's age of course in which case your bucket list should be numero uno.
Trouble is buckets often require financing and so work gets back on the agenda.

Well ridden @Whorty. I hadn't planned for the quick finish but those ghosts behind were getting too close for comfort. Looked like you managed to stay ahead of them too. Feels like my strength is coming back and no dizzy spells that ride, unlike the previous two.

I struggled today so really needed your help . Got cramp on that first hill. I think I pushed too hard from the off. One of the toughest courses. You are back on form.
