Yep, you can tell all your non-cycling workmates how your were knocking out 400 watts on your turbo last night and a Mini Cooper S only does 128 (KW).
I've been doing some digging on my bkool sessions.
I did a full BRVR session on Wind River Pass
Total........Main........Total Time....Main Time....Power Avg....Avg Cad....Notes
26.9km....26.9km....1hr 46...........1hr 46...........167................77..............There was no warm up/cool down on this session. The warm up/cool down were ......................................................................................................................seperate bkool sessions
I imported that session to bkool and used it on bsim. The result
27.7km....26.8km....1hr 31..........1hr 28.............171...............77...............The total distance includes 0.7km warm up and 0.2km cool down.
Not up to the usual cyclechat standard power or what not. The only difference I could see was the speed registered. Bkool was always higher going uphill for close to the same power.
The only upside I can see to this disparity is that it is, currently, consistant. Maybe not in its values but in its presence. I do not suffer from the dead stops of the pro, probably because I rarely go fast enough. I can measure myself against past efforts and feel that there is a good comparison.
Edit to add/clarify.
This was done on an original classic trainer without fe-c, but the latest available firmware.
