Excellent been working on my physique over the summer and definitely honed a build suited to (down)hillsNo handicap in today's race other than the being in shape. Its a downhill run so the advantage is to those of us husky riders. See you there

It may be difficult to heed the advice of a non professional but I'm going to suggest in the future don't stop run away trucks.Hi Randy. Its getting better slowly thanks, I'm having to make sure I try and walk, stretch and massage but it's all painful stuff. Night's are the worst as I'm just in constant pain and the drugs don't seem to work...
I've managed to stop taking morphine in the day so that's good but walking is very painful even with a crutch. On the plus side mummy pig allowed me to have a beer last night- she's being very strict and has control over the key for the beer cupboard!
One positive is I don't mind getting up early with the baby as she helps take my mind off things especially when she's sick all over me!
Should be physio on the next couple of weeks, mri and then seeing what the big picture is!
My aim is to be able to do the CG rides all together at the end of the month so watch out @theboxers and @Goldwolfie!
On Strava it looks like you've been putting in the miles in the real world. Under its a small world, on one ride you mentioned a bike shop/ cafe outside of Leeds. One of my coworkers has a sister who has a bike shop in Haxby.Excellent been working on my physique over the summer and definitely honed a build suited to (down)hills
Isn't it just. Yes Mrs SV8 has found a love of cycling which I am nurturing however I am still at the stage of having to find entirely flat backwind routes for fear of being shouted at for "putting that ****ing mountain in the way" (oh and for mountain read anything over 0.01% incline)On Strava it looks like you've been putting in the miles in the real world. Assume I still search for Bill and join that at 5 for the warmup? Some ghosts added for the 5pm sesh but couldn't get them all.
Yeah some good rides around here aren't there Andy if you want reasonably flat + a tea shop. Woodhall ticks all of the boxesMy missus made some good progress this year, from exercise bike upto 40 milers on a couple of occasions when we rode upto Woodhall Spa. She has lost her way a little recently, but I hope to get her back in the saddle(so to speak)this winter
Kitted her bike with hub Dyno lights so there is no excuse for her to go to local shops on the bike
