I’m too non mainstream to do any of that and lack the social skills to interact with my dreams.

:welcome: @JJRobinson it will be a pleasure not to get to know you. You have however, cycled past me a few times in WC’s of the past. @BILL S will let you in.
Yes will be good to put a person behind a name! I have used Bkool for a while now but only just got sorted on here! :wahhey:

Just done stage 2 of the WC and relatively pleased with my time 34:32....your goal @AAAC 76C , for a side bet of a pint, is 31:59. I would be happy to have side bets for each stage, first one to do the stage sets the goal for the other, bets don't have ot be accepted! All bets settled after the Nations cup!
Good luck tonight,
Rule #90//
Never Get Out of the Big Ring
applies to this ride, none of the climbs are too long you can power over them all so don't worry about the 10% + sections they are all about 10m !

34:32 seems a good time Keith - the best part of 3 mins quicker than me :okay:

As an aside, does anyone know if BKool have 'recalibrated' things over the past few weeks? BSIM seems to be reporting a lot less power than I was pushing when I got back on my turbo a month or so ago. I used to push a lot more watts on the inclines but now it is barely any more than on the flat.

Either that or the dodgy knees are catching up with me

Thx Peter, i'm better on climbs than flat. I seem to be pushing almost the same watts as before, but I haven't absolutely killed myself on any ride yet so i think it's pretty much as it was for me.

Keep going @theboxers - steady away.. :bicycle:
 Erm sorry @Jim Brown . I think I had a couple of zones where bsim was being overly generous with the speed and light with the resistance on stage 4. There ia no way I should beat you on that course :surrender:.

Ride approved Sir Boxers. You’re going well. Let me know if you fancy spinning a few rides, I’m always happy to have some company on the hills. :hugs:

Stages 1 and 2 of LeJog complete tonight. Added a few ghosts to make it interesting and keep me company. I started stage 1 with @Jim Brown 's words of take it steady, it's not a race, in my mind ... but that lasted the first half only. I just can't help wanting to race the ghosts  Stage 2 was hard, doing it straight after stage 1. Legs burning by the end, but managed to complete it :wahhey:

I will do . I am running a bkool weight loss plan 3 times a week of between 30 an 60 minutes. I tack a lejog stage onto the 30 minute sessions unless I have a day like yesterday where I was almost asleep on the bike for some reason .

With the CG ride Thursday and a BRVR ride Sunday I have a fullish schedule. I am not a fan of doing rides after 8pm. It screws with my sleep patern. For some reason I can't sleep well if the end time of the ride is too late . I normally start my rides between 5 and 6.
