2 beers or not 2 beers.... That is the question!
Great time, I have discovered how we are going to win the nation's cup!

@theboxers thise times suit me very much. I’m a fan of 5..
Just let me catch up a couple of rides. I should be doing part 5 tomorrow. I am not pushing it on these. I am aiming for 160-180 watts average with a cadence of 80+. This allows me to be in zone 2/3, I can keep going steady at this level. If I push any harder the legs go bang at the moment.

I had a plan, a risky plan but it payed off.
I challenged Musseeuw who's time was 29:48. I know I can normally climb better than him so I sat on the line for 10 seconds and let the race go off ahead of me.
I thought I had messed up because he was getting away to start with but it wasn't long before I pegged back the 10 seconds so I could draft him up the climb and have a bit of a rest (if you can call it that).
It was enough to let me recover from the chase and also allowed me to save a bit for my next bit of the plan by attacking the crest to make sure I was descending fast and ahead of him. This allowed me to back off on the descents and to allow him to come through on the climbs and give me a bit of a tow.
Did the same for the 'flat' bit and then finally I attacked him on the last descent and hammered into the final climb.
Some may call it cheating but to me is was a tactical way to rise to a challenge.

I've set up a CG2 Ghost for you guys to chase on Thursday.
Looking at the map view below the pace I set is reasonable, for some, up to the small arrow which is about halfway.
I then upped the pace 20 to 30 watts.
At the second arrow the drive for home starts and the pace goes up again.
At the 3rd arrow my lead out starts for those that want to contend the sprint.

Unfortunately the ride has not landed yet but hopefully it will be there by Thursday for @BILL S to set up.
Perhaps the Danes have broken the server today.
I was so temped to join in their massed start event but I had to get some League Sessions done.
I also had to leave the Liga Multiplayer again to get my CG ride to show today.

I’ve created a new thread for LEJoG should anyone require dedicated chat. I’ve had a number of new joiners during the past couple of days and I’m hoping they will join us here.

Splitters thread!

Great plan, and brilliantly executed, you deserve your pint and the our Danish friend owes you one too. We can talk about future challenges, if like to win they point back, however the next three weeks are tricky for me as I'm in the UK without a bike for ten days and then at our house in France for ten days, where last weekend I discovered my second decent road bike is nowhere near as good for bkool as my Dí2 speced good bike here in Barc. I have a plan, but I think I might need to take the best bike to France and get the rides in when I can but that probably won't be in sync with everybody else.
