@bert1971 looks like you're starting the Chase tonight! :bravo:

View attachment 393861

Warm up starts at 6.50, race starts at 7pm + your handicap time. I'll be starting by joining during the warm up, and keeping pedaling through the start, and then stopping pedaling just ahead of when when the elapsed time on the session gets to 10.05, so I can start then.

I think @BILL S will be starting, so search his name, or anyone else you know will be in the warm up (like me!). Course is Stouby Sejet. There will probably be a password which will probably be "chase" but best wait for Bill to confirm that. Hope to see you there Adam!

Just to avoid any confusion, I think I'll be starting the ride tonight and Geoff means that Bert will be the first off. Is that what you meant @gbrown ?

And to confirm - are we using the elapsed time as our start time or real-time clock?
Elapsed time worked perfectly for me last time but I think that's because I started the ride so my clock was the only one reading correctly. Stop watch set from the start time should be the best way for most to join I would think.

Mixed, men an women please Bill
Where are all the women, have we frightened them away with out masculine prowess, debonair behavior and light hearted wit.

I'm working on it AAAC. Not easy but I think I'm getting somewhere.

If everyone joins during the warm up then the elapsed time is a good measure, apart from for those to whom bkool gives a negative elapsed time!

Geoff
Did this happen for people on the start line Geoff? Is it captured on the video do you know? If anyone sees a negative time on the elapsed time while sat on the line waiting to start can you let me know and try and get a screenshot so I can give feedback to Bkool - as it is the elapsed time they're planning to use to start the TTT in the Nations Cup!!

Problems do show on the recording, at least to me as a spectator, I can't see what the actual riders see for elapsed time.

It seems that for anyone who joins during the warm up, when I selected the rider the elapsed time shows the time from the end of the warm up and the start of the race proper. This is apart from for a few riders, such as AAAC, where it is hugely negative:

Also, some riders, such as @bobinski, had an elapsed time much larger than the time the session had been running!

Basically, typical Bkool shambles! :banghead:

Stop watch set from the exact moment the warm up ends is a brilliant idea. Windows 10 has a built in stop watch under Alarms & Clock (just click on start button in lower left corner and type stopwatch).

I joined during the warm up and the elapsed time was correct. ... although there was one occasision when I joined and the elapsed time was -ve ... I think that was when I joined after the chase had started.

When I click on any other application running on windows (Multi Monitor Setup in the Cave Of Pain) BSim minimises itself on the task bar :evil::evil:
