That Florida route was one of @Bored Man 's routes on his league that looked like not much climbing. When I started the ride I didn't turn off the real weather so it was raining. I used that as my excuse for you beating me as I'm saying I was cautious in the corners.
Looks like you and I are going to be close in these leagues. I didn't start @Bored Man 's rides until too late. But a new month and a new start.

Yeah i had real weather on as well, but it only ever seems to come up with 'Cloudy' tho apparently on one ride i did it was Foggy, but that didnt seem to make much difference, maybe theres something i havent been doing properly? tho having said that, i do a lot of local rides and im not exactly in the most rain hit area. but yeah, i think we shall be close on a lot of them, unless its stages like the Côte Du Mont Bernon (big man dont get up 11% plus inclines real well lol), ones like that your probably gonna have me covered tho i think the Cote stage is probably why i got ahead on the Florida ride, cos i had done 10.3km of the Cote when it glitched on me and i lost the whole ride, was NOT happy about that, so went to the Florida ride and rode it while angry, so that would have bought me some time purely just due to the Adrenalin, was an angry fella on that one! LOL

but yeah, it will be nice to have some competitive banter and be able to push each other for better results I'm over in South Australia, where the Tour Down Under is hosted in January...meaning i cant really road ride for that month cos all the tourists in Lycra show up and really annoy the hell out of the locals, which in turn results in a lot of anger, has never led to any incidents yet, but still, i dont wanna be the first innocent victim lol

Sorry for not including you in one of the teams for this month's league. I tried to include everybody who contributes here and had missed your posts. Are you able to do either of our group rides, Thursday 19:00 and Saturday 18:00 central European time or are you fast asleep then?
If the teams continue next month I'll add you so you can have more opportunities to get bragging rights over @Randyberlin .

no thats ok i hadnt posted much on here and i dont feel so bad not being on a team since i missed a couple of rides (i messed up the time difference, turns out i had a day less than i thought lol), but yeah, probably wont make many of the group rides by the looks, that works out to be about 3:30am over here, and sure, im a night owl, but it would probably stretch things a bit to far with the other half if i tried riding at that time of night, dont think she would appreciate it somehow lol

Darn you figured it out. Before any up-hill races, soak your rear tyre in Mobil1 oil. Friction is very low that way.

It seems that the team rankings do not take into account team members who have not done the stage and simply aggregates the times of those members of the team that have done the stage, assuming that everybody is going to do all stages. We know this is never the case. The individual league takes non participation in a stage into account and assigns you the slowest time achieved to date on that stage times 1.15 (I think).
I've created a sheet to recreate this formula for our teams. It's not elegant but it is a more accurate reflection of the state of play. When an admin approves a ride in the league they will also manually enter the data into the sheet so that things are always up to date.
Of we like the idea of teams and continue with it in the future then I'll continue with the sheet until bkool buy the intellectual property rights from me to correct their system.
