I am finding the whole thing really frustrating. The latency is huge. If I try and jump on a wheel nothing happens and then I just shoot by.
I can wip my cadence up to 110 and above going downhill on a 52x11 and only get 44kph on the screen when I should be doing well over 50. Going up hill my power does not build until many seconds have gone by and then as it all comes together I get a huge power overswing and shoot by poeple.
That all said I could not keep up with @keithaitch or @BILL S .
I have obviously lost quite a bit of cycling fitness in my 3 months cycling sebaticle.
The only thing that seemed to work right was my heart rate which was getting too high too early.
Strange. I use a Tacx Flux S and have no lag at all. Downhill over 50kph is no problem and resistance is quickly built up going uphill.

Don't try to catch up with Keith or Bill, they use enhanced stimulants (Mobil1 oil).

I'm finding the drafting really hard. In the past if I was four seconds ahead of somebody at my level and feeling it I would think about easing up, knowing I could hold the wheel, now I won't. It seems that the drafting only applies for a very limited amount of time and if you lose it it is super hard to get back on. I hope they change it back.

I've also found that spinning faster rather than pushing a high gear increases the watts and so the speed. I'm trying to adjust as in the real world I generally over gear.

Not the most satisfying of sessions I couldn't focus on the ride while trying to remember who had disconnected and then reconnect myself. I got booted twice, was it hassle free for everybody else?
I abandoned the session twice, first time my fault I didn't have the power lead into the TACX so just sat at the start line spinning like crazy. Oddly Bkool said it was connected, lesson learned. I tried to rejoin but was so far behind and to be honest didn't feel like I was going to touch my Thursday night time so ducked out.

I think the teams are a good new dimension, interesting to see how that develops. Sorry captain @Brusgaard for the lack of pace, hopefully it'll improve! Perhaps we need a new 'go faster' strip?

The same, even if I can catch someone it seems impossible to synchronise power.

Randy do you just connect the toolkit direct to your bkool trainer via BT or do you have to run the Sim on your phone as well.
I ask as my phone can see my trainer via BT buy the trainer does not allow connection, that is via the phones BT settings.
The toolbox app simply does not find the bkool trainer, bkool pro in my case?
Mine found the trainer after I started the scan but only if the Sim isn’t running. The trainer may only allow 1 connection? After the update I tried to go in and look but it couldn’t find it. I’ll try after I dry the dogs off. Kipster copied his namesake again and ran through the mud. @kipster

I just did it with an iPad. It didn’t find it on the first scan so I unplugged the power and replugged and it found it. I’m on a pro also. 491574

Do you use bluetooth for the BSim
I seem to remember that you have to enable the bluetooth.
I loaded the BSim app and thats not finding the trainer either. I will have a look at the FAQs in BKool.com .
I always try to use the ant+. I have used the Bluetooth but it seems to control slower but that may just be perceived because of a slow ride
