Email Of Shame. If you have not opted out, you’ll receive one of those, if someone challenge your ride/time and beat you...
Aha

Of course. I do get quite a few or those emails o shame. Keep getting challenged and beaten ☹️. For some reason I don't seem to have much in the legs recently.☹️

Sorry, couldn't make 5pm but did try completing it just now, Ant+ dropped again only metres from the end, I couldn't face a reset and going again from the start so may try again tomorrow.
I do seem to have a lot of issues keeping Bkool connected to the bike - I'm using a Win10 tablet and a Garmin Ant+ stick, can I ask what set-ups people have that are proving reliable?

Don’t know much about the wattbike, but with every other trainer it usually helps having a USB extension cable, placing the ANT-stick as close to the ANT-sending device(s) as possible.

Also disable all unnecessary wireless stuff, Bluetooth, Wifi on the PC etc. which might interfere with the ANT-signals, especially if not using the extension cable.

Wired Ethernet/connection is also preferred, but if your wifi reception is good AND no micro dropouts, it may work fine wireless...

Have you tried Bluetooth? Obvious I know! I have no trouble with connection from anything my laptop, my wife's laptop, her tablet, my phone, with them all at the front of the bike and no extension. I do get occasional disconnections from bkool but that because there are varoys walls or floors between me and the router for the wifi signal. That said the Bluetooth connection always seems better and faster in terms of lag when incline changes. Sympathy though, not the stage you want to have to repeat but then think how strong you'll be fit stage 4!

This sounds so silly. I use a Macbook, with an Ant+ dongle and wifi. The laptop is +- 1.5 meters away from my Tacx and other sensors and never loose connection. I don't disable bluetooth, wifi, etc.
I had a old Tacx Ant+ connector which did gave me problems. I swapped it for an ebay Ant+ dongle and no problems since whatsoever.

Those who have a working solution should not change anything. People who doesn't, got to try the cheap basic solutions. It is always possible later on to shell out €1500 for a new MacBook + a slew of necessary adaptors/dongles to connect it to anything. :becool:
