Just managed to get the gp 28mm 4 seasons on my wheels. Really don't want to do that again in a hurry.
Filled the tubes with that green slime stuff so cross fingers my rides to work will be worry free.

Ok guys here's a link to a doodle to see if we can get at least 4/5 of us but preferably more for a pratting about session over the holidays in the velodrome to try to work out how the 2 lap sprint event works.

Sounds like a great idea even though I will probably be the first eliminated.
I would rather not commit at this stage as I don't know if I will definitely be around. I could keep an eye on which days you do and see if I can join then if that's ok.

Don’t know much about the wattbike, but with every other trainer it usually helps having a USB extension cable, placing the ANT-stick as close to the ANT-sending device(s) as possible.

Also disable all unnecessary wireless stuff, Bluetooth, Wifi on the PC etc. which might interfere with the ANT-signals, especially if not using the extension cable.

Wired Ethernet/connection is also preferred, but if your wifi reception is good AND no micro dropouts, it may work fine wireless...
Thanks for the tips guys, I've dug out an old USB cable extender and will try that later. My Wifi is also a little weak in the garage, the signal has to navigate an external wall so I may look at solutions for this too.
I can use Bluetooth too just means I'll need to pair the HR strap with the bike (each time, it's a bit forgetful) before connecting with BT. I'll keep this idea in the back pocket for now.

My stuff is all outside in my shed. What I did was to get a cheap Asus router and long ethernet cable. I already had a couple of homeplugs so from the router in the house I connected that to a homeplug and the ethernet cable was routed outside to my shed and then plugged into my second router. I then connected from the second router to my laptop by ethernet cable and bobs your uncle.
With that system I also get extended WiFi to the rear garden and also to my phone/ tablet if I'm in the shed.
It sounds complicated but it was straight forward really.
The only reason I couldn't just run another ethernet cable from my in house router was because my desktop computer and my son's computer are also plugged into the router in the house. Not enough spare sockets in the router with everything else plugged in.
I think it cost me about 40£ for the cables and router.

Sorry about the long explanation. Hope it helps
