I think you are eliminated if at the back of a sprint lap but unfortunately if faster / fitter people do the non sprint laps at a pace that leaves you a lap behind you have no chance. Would be better if everyones speed was restricted to 15kmph on non sprint maybe then everytime sprint laps occur everyone is on an equal footing

20000 km in a year. Wow that is impressive I guess your job is cycle courier 🤯 or retired. I'll be lucky if I've done 5000km.
Bet you're up there with the Strava distance
I was quite pleased with my 8500 Kms this year ... until Keith's 22,000 :notworthy: I'm clearly not working anywhere near hard enough :surrender:

Yes you are probably right. Sorry, I think that was probably me starting off too quick.
I thought give it beans and try to stay near the front and not get caught out.
I probably spoilt it for you guys 😢.

Good idea having a speed restriction to start with and when the sprint lap pops up go for it.

Again sorry for spoiling

I was on the m62 so don't apologise to me! Doing a speed restriction would be hard but maybe it's something bkool could implement that the race organiser sets a max speed of their choice and the sim won't recognise anything above it until the sprint. 5 steady laps everyone all out for 1 then maybe 4 laps then 3 so the break gets shorter each time untill it's just a mad scramble for anyone left. Keith has their ear so maybe give them an idea and pass my name down for someone to contact for other improvements. Example making it possible to get my Mrs to turn my fan up and down or bring a drink without shouting her into the garage.

Don't worry, I think it was a learning curve for everyone, I had no idea what was going on for the 1st sprint and got eliminated for a stint on the training bike. After a few sprints though yes we got stuck at the start then after that I didn't notice any more eliminations. I think it's time to read the manual.

I like the idea of a speed limit too or maybe wait for the last placed 'survivor' to take the lead and set the pace. Like you say a few more people and it could be fun. We should definitely explore it a bit more.

Not my wife but Alexa turns my fan on or off by asking. I have a cheap 4 outlet smart powerstrip. I need to fit up something for fan speed.

The general confusion and setting off fast was my only chance not to get eliminated. It worked once, but not again.
I was left on the start line for ages, at round 2, whilst others sped past.
Don't know why but round 3 seemed to just keep on going with no eliminations - I was looking forward to a rest.
Surely controlling the speed between sprints would be similar to the Kieran. Which, with tonight's experience, I think I prefer.

I wish I had a mistress alongside the other half, ✋ 🙇
Not really. She also doesn’t do everything I ask. She wouldn’t send an email of shame to you .
