Don't know what happened. I had just me and the ghosts and after 10kms as I was no where near me or AAAC I called it a day. Let's hope it was just that route.

Wise choice. I saw no need for a cold start again. Thursday I stopped pedalling and waited for more than 2 minutes before the race suddenly started. Better save the energy for my last remaining BWC stage, Col de Vars, tomorrow morning...

What's everyone's pre / post ride supplements or shakes? If I'm playing football again I need something to stop the muscles seazing

Same for me, but at least the recorded times were correct - I thought I was going to have to do the ride again to get a league recorded time.

@shimceltic - thanks for hanging around and keeping me company.
Hey wolfie, I was taking it easy but when anything above 3% I tried harder. I did try to get us drafting near the end but didn't click unfortunately. Bit annoying I was only 5 mins slower without pushing compared to 180bpm and nearly dying!

I normally have my tea. Baked beans scrambled egg bacon toast or similar. I believe the most important time to eat is within the first 30 mins or so after exercise. Correct me if I'm wrong people. That doesn't mean 🍰 and chocolate and 🍺.
