@shimceltic - I can't load the sim on either my laptop or tablet. Getting 'Operation Cannot be completed - try again later'.

Might pass on that idea and have a couple of beers instead.

Will try again tomorrow.
Yes, it is down here too. Could be a while, if they are not allowed to go and reboot the servers. Or it could be that the internet lines in Spain are overloaded given today’s events.

Oh well, got a Zwift session in London in 10 minutes. 🙂

I'm on an Android tablet and it looks the same. They seem to be aware of some capacity issues as they've posted a warning to avoid rides with over 100 people in them.
Yep, Bkool was a pain tonight, managed to get a small ride in though.

Yes, and so has Poland, Russia, Norway and probably soon Sweden. Germany has just now closed their borders, so Danish people (and others) can not go to Germany.
Stupid Danes went across the border to do some tax free shopping, when the border was closed yesterday. Their argument was, hey there were less people there than at my local supermarket and thus less risc.
What they forget is, that people in the local supermarket are LOCALS, whereas those going for tax free shopping come from many different cities/areas, effectively helping the spread to some non-infected areas.

SAS (Scandinavian Airline Services) in Denmark sends home 90% of their workforce, and brings the number of destinations down from 100 to 1, and that 1 is a domestic destination.

This kind of “me, myself and I”mentality should be punished, and the same goes for those hoarding all kinds of stuff, when there is no need to!
There is really no point for us to close borders is there? I trust you danes to sort that out with the norwegians. You lot locked us in didn’t you.^_^

Funny thing here in Sweden. People are hoarding toilet paper forgetting that is about the only thing we still produce in Sweden (And matches to sort out the smell). So I think we’re all set here. But I wonder what people are going to do with all their toilet paper?

It is the same here. If anything you would think stock up on flu medicine. It.Must be a world wide crazy psychosis.

Big news from France, where we are stuck unable or unwilling to go back to Barcelona which is in lock down, is that my wife is going to give this stupid thing we do (her words not mine) a try today. Any suggestions for a nice 20kms,downhill route with pretty video would be appreciated. I was thinking of the Mallorca downhill we did the week before last at least until that 12% kick where she'll come to a complete stop! Pep Tache get ready to be blown out of the water! This is just a first step to getting the tandem on the trainer and then we'll see some unbelievable figures!

Way back there is a post of someone who put a tandem on the trainer with his son.
Maybe @BILL S will remember.

Do a search with 'descenso' or 'descent'. There are 20 or so +20km descent videos on bkool, many of which I used as a cooldown after chaingang or mountain goat rides. Many of the longer ones take 15-20 minutes or so.

Here's one I used quite regularly. Took me about 20-23 minutes of very light pedalling.
