Yes I wondered where Egan came from! Happy with 4th great race that 4 of us were so close at the end was pretty good. With 5 kms to go I didn't think anybody would catch @shimceltic but I hoped to catch @AndyMacca and nearly died in the failed attempt! I will introduce a handicap as one of the final stage attempts of the league each month.

I quite like it as a seperate event also if the interest is still there. Tuesdays 6pm?

Perhaps time Sergio gave the handicaps a slight tune up ;)
Yes, I'll have a word, he hasn't been too kind to you and @Brusgaard of late.

@keithaitch and sergei maybe a Tuesday handicap could use an average time from the Thursday and Saturday rides to give a handicap for a 3rd run of the league ride....
Or see what bkool come up with for next week
Guys,
Firstly trhanks for the impout @shimceltic , always appreciated.
I was thinking along the following lies but please let me know what you think so it can be fine tuned to be as close to what we collectively want.
1. Set up a new monthly chaingang handicap league and only accept people in who we know.
2. Run all four/five weeks over the same course though changing it each month, something like last night's which doesn't favour anybody in particular but is not completely flat.
3. Do it on Tuesdays as suggested at 18:00/19:00
3. Start the sessions the way we are starting them now but make the sessions private to exclude any interlopers!
4. Refine the handicaps weekly on the basis of the historic results.
5. Set up a team sheet to record the results and award points to the first three actual finishers, and we all know what points mean...
6. Have a beer or two!

@Brusgaard I presume someting similar is organised either in the Danish groups here or in Zwift, do you have any info that can help us get it right?
I'm happy to do the set up work for the rest of this season, i.e. April (starting next week for two weeks) and then May and June and then perhaps somebodyelse could take this league on in September, with guidance, as a way of learning the admin ropes in September. This assumes we are allowed out to ride itrw by July !
What do you all think ?

It is organized on the Facebook page - or should we say announced. The 3-4 guys running the league select all the season's routes at the beginning of the indoor season (October), and announces them on the league homepage (bkoolligaen.dk).
Racemasters (i.e. those who start the sessions) are then added along the way, and it is usually a select bunch of people throughout the season sharing the duty. They don't use the BKOOL league system but has programmed their own, and then use the results from the 4 weekly live races.
All races are private/password protected.

I haven't joined the Danish league this season and only done a handful of the races and is no longer active in the FB group. The guys got all too focused on promoting their new (paid subscription) e-cycling club with multiple daily posts about it by the 4 founders and across both the Zwift and BKOOL groups.

I don't see why I should continue helping their paying members, when they are the ones to get their expenses paid and getting sponsored trainers, subscriptions etc...

Just having a look at this month's league rides. I wondered why I couldn't see the profile of stage 4. I've now had a look and seen it's profile and can now see why it was hidden. Sutton bank ouch. Reasonably local to me. It is a killer of a hill. One I have avoided when cycling out that way although I have done it a long time ago. Ouch.

Right I'd better crack on and get the first stage of this month done

I see I have missed out on finishing the Flanders classics by the looks of it. Although I have ridden a stage this morning but it's not showing my time on the results ranking for the Bkool Flanders stages. I can see I've done4 but it hasn't registered my ride from today. All 6 stages are showing on the app though so I just rode one of those I hadn't done in the hope it would register my ride.

Looks like I've missed out on the stay at home rides as well ☹️ with me not being able to ride recently. There's no way of doing stages 1-4 is there. 5 and 6 are showing on the app
