I saw on Strava you ride through some tar. it didn't look like it slowed you down.
Had to carry the bike a few 100 meters

I'm not going to be there either , too big rides on Brvr today is enough for my sickly bike. @BILL S if you are going to be there could you start it? though you might be alone!

i was trying to keep 300 watts steady or just below but the transitions and low low cadence on the big bits made it hard

Thanks AAAC. If you hadn't shown up it would have been a very slow lonely ride. Your 300w was just right for my maximum and I had to really push it a few times to keep up. Looking forward to trying to beat myself on Saturday.
NOT!!! Although I will no doubt turn up.

Real world bike question. When I get out of the saddle I can feel a vibration in the front fork, happened since I had the bike. Anything to worry about? Also how to get small stones /tar off the bike?
