LIVING THE DREAM
it was a comfortable staying in that group. it was big enough not to have to follow every pass and you could drop 40 watts and sit at the back .
but try and leave the group almost impossible. i could add 20 or more rpm and gain nothing but a higher cadence
it was mad but fun
weirdly better cardio than going up
we should do more

i didnt say that either by the way just a thought in a moment of madness

Think I got a new max power 604w according to Strava. Bkool says I averaged about 230w Strava 216. How does that work then
Strava may have included the warm up/cool down or even both. In your case it looks like the cool-down dragged your average down, if you go into 'analysis' and select just the race it comes out around 230.

Too slow off the line and took a big effort to catch you guys up picking my way through the useless bots. I also tried to leave the group via the front door but as you say you can go up to 500watts but everyone just comes with you so there's little point trying. I suppose it does bring up the average speed of our mini peleton. Nowhere close to the speeds that @Goldwolfie and @Brusgaard were managing though, we were just losing time the whole way down.
Yes great cardio, haven't pushed my HR that hard for weeks, was up to 177 at one point and avg 169 during the race.

Don't worry just found it.

It was bikehike

Off topic. Someone posted a route making website. Very basic, just a map one side of the screen and the ability to look at the profile or gradients on the other.

Not ridewithgps or komoot etc. Just very basic with the ability to generate a gpx file iirc.

I've lost the bookmark and want to get back to the site. Help.

Just done Stage 3 as I am told we have a zoom meeting late this pm, during the rerun. On Thursday I forgot the password. I certainly missed the lightweight's peleton!
