Had a look at the BKOOL log files, to see what happened today, but only understand parts of it. As usual it is a mix of Spanish and English text.
I had a lot of warnings tonight (Unhandled Page ID 4e in HR profile), which I believe is related to the communication to my HRM. About 4-5 of those every second are written to the log! I have seen those in some previous sessions too, so probably a local ANT+ problem on my end. The warnings continued until I quit the simulator after the ride.
Once
@Goldwolfie joined a lot of errors was continuously logged ([Photon] No existe el Current Part para 226922). 60+ of those were logged per second! 226922 is G's PlayerName I believe. Photon is the engine that drives the network/multiplayer part of the game. Those errors continued until he left my session. Haven't seen that error before. Could be indicative of a network/backend problem somewhere, but why didn't it give the same error for
@Rod McG then, as he was the first to join?
Maybe BKOOL should update to a more recent version of the Unity engine to at least iron out some bugs. The one currently in use is 2019.2.19f1 (released in January 2020) and the latest in the 2019 branch is 2019.4.17, released yesterday.
Heck, why not switch to the 2020 branch, while they are at it, as it was released back in July and have had multiple updates already.
Looking at the release notes for the Unity engine, there is 100s of fixes since 2019.2.19f1, and some of them may very well be the culprit for the many weird bugs, we (continue to) experience?
