Was worried you were going to slip him a backhander to deny it. Was prepared to offer higher.
Now you tell me¡

When I went from Bkool pro to Tacx Neo 2 I gained watts. The Bkool algorithm had been adjusted and was harsh on "husky" riders.

Yes, that can happen too if you don't have a proper power meter (or accurate estimation like on the NEO) and have to rely on an algorithm taking into account rider weight, speed of a wheel, tire pressure and what not, like on the Pro.

A fair bit of warning, fairy dust doesn’t work for us riding non-BKOOL trainers.
If you’re struggling, borrow Bill’s, it’s a diesel.

I actually have Lee’s bkool pro in my loft. But the noise it makes... if I try and use it in my spare room which is at the top of the house, it’s highly likely the family will think aliens are trying to land on the roof! Still if it gets me a few free watts...

@Randyberlin thanks for the code mate. I’ll try and get the software installed tomorrow.

Oh we always have fun. It's just unfortunate there was nothing to distract Adam tonight so he beat me by 3 minutes.
Have you joined the Chaingang fun yet gos?

I am mainly lurking here for now ^_^ Just watched some Youtube Bkool videos from @Brusgaard and was a little spooked - some crazy wattage numbers there ^_^ Some great videos there, good to discover and review new routes. Good stuff

LIVING THE DREAM
I will be MIA until Saturday as I am on lates this week.
I will try and shoot a warmer into the butts ahead of Thursdays Chaingang and then ride 'live' on Saturday, so long as I have a space in my hectic social calendar.
I assume last weeks Chaingang was void l, if not I will give that a go as well.

@Brusgaard may i once again tap into your encyclopaedic knowledge. I have a young neighbour who is looking to get into indoor training. She did triathlons before an injury and is looking to get back in to it without having to ride on the roads, which around here are either busy or hilly.
I want to recommend a budget entry smart trainer to her, power accuracy, climbing to 20% etc is not important to her. What would be your recommendation be ? I've seen the Tacx flow for €299 on Wiggle which looks pretty good to me anything better?

Yes, how about a Tacx Vortex SMART? The SMART part is important, otherwise it can not be used with BKOOL, Zwift, RGT etc. So it has to be "Flow Smart". I can't find a non-Smart version on the Tacx homepage, but maybe in the past they did sell one? The Vortex is just a bit better (simulates up to 7% versus the Flow's 6%). So I would go for that, if not taking the plunge and buying one of the cheaper direct-drive (Elite Suito etc.). The Wahoo Snap is also a great (wheel-on) trainer. Have a look at DC Rainmaker's trainer comparison/recommendations here:
