i backed off too much after my slow start recovery and a descent started, had to work real hard again and used up my meager fast twitch

Started from stationary turbo, started pedalling flat out at the get go but was stuck on the bloody line. Had to stop flywheel, escape ride then start again.... what a ball ache. Went flat out but no hope of gaining on you guys in the train.
Timer had started too which was a bit annoying, hoped it would do my time from when I left the line but it didn’t.
Looks like I’m a dead cert. for the Saturday rerun.
