I just saw the end of the video, brain must've been messed up in the race as I could have sworn it was @Barbes66 who shot off but it was @perswe .

yes...I thought I'd go early to get a good gap as I was worried about the watts you produced in the final RGT sprint. I that that race would end up a big bunch sprint. Only had legs for one or two moves...as the first try was a poor and ill planned move figured I should just go early with all I had.

I burnt my match in that earlier faux attack in an attempt to thin the group. Had nothing more to give by the end. Looking from behind I actually thought you'd got it @AndyMacca so must have been some sprint @perswe to take it by 2.

Well I might have to try on Saturday! I think you'll do well Saturday in the group with drafting and if u manage it with ghosts and no draft well you deserve any gains you can get

It’s a big ask isn’t it? I’ve WhatsApp’d Lance Armstrong, asking if I could draft him on that course tomorrow night, and if he’s otherwise indisposed, could he hook me up with some ‘juice’.

It pisses me off I’m so competitive. It would be fine if I was better at cycling. Competitiveness when you’re only bringing mediocre talent to the table is a real curse.

Im really competative also and when I realised people older that me are smashing me I had to realise no matter what age or abilities someone is always better...... That said I've only been cycling for 4 weeks so I think I can get better
