I'm using a 7 year old gaming laptop. Runs this fine as it's not really graphic intense.
I had a laborious review of what could possibly be going wrong at 5am on Sunday morning, having been woken by a noisy baby. I'm not a technology man, but it does look like there is a bug in the iPad app. I am probably using all of the wrong terminology, but think it is holding data that there is no need (as far as I can see) for it to do - so when you try to ride, or search for a username, the pressure on the operating system is massive.

I deleted a load of crap off my iPad, deleted and reinstalled the App, and ensured my trainer was up-to-date (it already was!). I then tested it on Sunday, and it worked suspiciously well.

I have also now been sent a BETA version of the app for iPad, which is launching this week or next. So if it goes down again, i will give that a go.

@Goldwolfie I ran out of space commenting in the 'tweet like' Bkool comments box and after I hit 'comment' it said 'page not found' so thought I'd just post here. I joined you the 1st time then realised I hadn't paired my pedals so quit out, checked they were indeed paired then rejoined. Yes it was a good ride with a nice video too, not too steep, I hit bottom gear but thankfully didn't need a lower one. Plenty of riders to play with too, only a couple of 6wkg+ crazies

@AndyMacca - nice youtube video. I think it shows the better side of Bkool, with the different options of 3D and video. I always use video if available as I'm normally 'Billy No Mates', so I can enjoy the scenery. That final 3 miles was just about right for me, and I even went passed a few riders on the flatter section.

Didn't think you can use erg on a race anyway.

Not on Zwift no, but on BKOOL yes - as seen in the video.

You are aware the use og ERG mode in a race is considered cheating, right?

Well that's my masterplan for world domination well and truly rumbled and I'd hidden my tracks so well.

Yes, we have seen this before, but does that mean we should just leave it be?

Are we racing or riding?
Racing on Thursday/Saturday if you can redo the race in erg that's obviously no good and people should be called out. Last Thursday sometime started late and managed a steady 9.8w/kg all the way!
