Yeah. They’ve changed it a little. Mine was set for 20 pounds but now is on 16.5. I’m not going to argue. I bet your new bike is lighter than the 7.5 kg.
On an unrelated note I’ve been chasing a very intermittent click. I just folded the legs back and forth and may have fixed it. Now I need to recable the derailour because I swapped out the handlebars to wider and now the cables are too short to turn all the way. Not a problem in the bike shed but someday the rain and snow will stop.. days get longer soon!

Anybody else riding this morning? Not looking forward to an hour of climbing…

Feck! I rejected your attempt @Barbes66, confusing it with this weeks stage. Now I realize it was last weeks stage you did today! 😩
I will adjust your time on the next stage accordingly, if possible.

I can also offer you a wheel if you want to do it again?

This is your data for the ride:

@Barbes66
100 rpm average. That's impressive.

Edit: I just looked and all you guys were up there. @Rod McG 110!! I did 94 and was about as fast as I could spin with almost no resistance.

Ah ok - I wondered. Not sure I could do that again - at least not at 3.5W/kg downhill. I almost came off at one point! I'll take a positive penalty next week.

I got a Bkool Pro 55f6 for my wife so we could train together (I have a Trax Flux S). We're trying to ride together on Zwift. Her power is WAY off making it impossible. I also have a pedal-based power meter which confirms mine is correct.

I did side-by-side tests of compatible gear, effort and cadence and the Bkool is reporting less than half the power. For example, a leisure 62 rpm at 120 watts on my trainer is the same effort as 62 rpm at 50 watts on the Bkool.

Basically, the calibration is WAY off, less than half of what it should be. I can't find any method of calibration. For my trainer, there's a calibration icon in Zwift, but for the Bkool in Zwift it doesn't offer a calibration icon.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? We've both been searching and trying different apps for hours now with no results. Basically, this is useless if it can't be somewhat similar in power output so we can ride together.

The bkool trainers don't use a power meter but an algorithm. They have never Been super accurate but not that far off. The weight has a lot to do with the calculation. But start a help ticket. I think the support for the hardware was spun off to Zycle. Good luck. And think about joiining the bkool races on Thursday and Saturday. Did you try the Bkool Sim?

I did try the Bkool Sim with the same results. My Garmin is reporting I'm going 20 mph but I'm going like 12 mpg. To go 20 mph in the sim (either Zwift or Bkool) I need to put out about 300 real watts. It's basically not usable as-is.

You mention setting the weight. Maybe something is calibrated so it thinks I weigh 500 lbs. How would I set the weight? I can find no ability to connect to the trainer to do any kind of settings.

Also, I can find no way to open a help ticket. Their help goes to their FAQs with no contact support option anywhere.
