Ok, which of you jokers came up with this route? This was just insane. Slopes from 0 to 23% instantaneously, drops from +19 to -14%. The slope accuracy was just bollocks... And even dangerous. Going from +19% to -14% causes the resistance on the Tacx to drop to 0, causing pedalling in thin air with the risk of flying of the pedals.
And 2D sucks...

The "real" route (https://my.bkool.com/profile/detail/81394) seems more legit. I did that in 41m46s on the BKOOL Pro back in 2016, and is listed as having only 336 HM, where as the one done today had 604 HM for apparently the same real world route!!

@Brusgaard has said there are 2 similar routes and he's clicked the dodgy version....

Great route @Brusgaard - haven't had a dot race since the early days of 2010. To add to the excitement I lost my front mech - just couldn't shift to big so those 20% downhills were even more insane than they should have been.

My bike came loose at the back just before the last couple of kms, making it neigh impossible to stand up. Had to grind my way over the steep parts. Pretty sure I've grinded away a good chunk of my dropouts too.

It is just a small section. Too bad there is like 20+ of them in succession.

Presumably you will be doing the re-run yourself? None of us had any company from others or bots so were effectively time trialling. Enjoy!

I have a slight feeling that no one wants to do the rerun tomorrow?

I need to do the Giro Virtual stage 3, so we could do that instead and maybe benefit from drafting each other. Of course we could make it a race, but a nice fast group ride would be nice.

We could do it earlier too, if you want?

@Randyberlin I suggest you just take the time penalty instead of taking on this crap league route.
