Hanne checked the weather in Sitka in August/September, and it was like 10-12C and plenty rain! After that she was not convinced that (that part of) Alaska was a place to visit.
Hope you had a nice trip to Odense today and the seagulls didn’t ruin your sleep.

I really don’t know what it is. It just happened Saturday (Aug 23rd) afternoon/night, and I hadn’t been riding since Friday (and that was just a 1 hour zone 2-3 ride).
When I got off the couch after watching the Vuelta, I felt a REALLY sharp pain the left knee (think icepick). This pain continued whenever I bent my leg/knee, from one point to another. So walking up/down stairs, in/out of bed etc. was a pain. Driving was painful as my leg was in/out of the “pain-position” whenever I used the clutch.
Just walking didn’t hurt much - only when bending the knee.It is better now, but I can still feel something is not quite right yet. But I fear what happens when I get on the bike and actually use the knee. The (tele) doc told me to stay off the bike and rest the knee (how do you do that?) for 2 weeks, and see if it stopped hurting. If not, I should go see my GP and/or a physiotherapist.

Mine has been bad since gran Canaria bike week last December, did physio etc but is sore as soon as I do some resistance/ climbs..... On that note I'm off to gran Canaria again!
