Rod, I can’t thank you enough. You pulled me along that whole ride. I literally buried myself trying to stay with you. My HR was about 175 for most of that!! I didn’t mean to pop you on the line either, that was a bit rude of me after your generosity on the rest of the ride. But yes, a massive thankyou!!!

I’m happy to go with the majority because I think I likely only make 50 percent of the Thursday races and try to do them another time if I miss them. Just a shame to miss it because they really seem to be gaining momentum which is really good to see.

its really weird how it seems so alien to turn yourself inside out on the flat while quite happy to work just as hard going up a mountain ! does seem so much harder to keep going on flat - is it an illusion / just me ?
