I was watching you from the Rouvy app. There was an about 10 riders on a starting line. When time started I see only 5 riders moving forward, then I decided stop watching and return to watch again. That moment everyone was moving. Look little bit weird. Later came 1 more rider so totally I saw 11 riders.

Yes, but I believe I saw the same as you. For a paid product, I find the racing worse than other cheaper/free platforms.

It took us a while to shake of the Lars guy, then @Barbes66 was so fast at the finish that I thought he must have switched to a motorbike!

I was hammering it on the rise because I guessed you'd be thereabouts. I couldn't go any faster so you must have had a good finish.

Could only see Lars and @Barbes66, and as we were working really well together I thought we could all see eachother. I sussed that both Barbes66 and myself could outclimb Lars and that worked. Then I dropped @Barbes66 on the final climb after which he came up behind me like an Exocet missile. Cooked legs are not what you want for sprinting, so I was lucky to get away with it! It felt hard, but with quite a lot of draughting my power was spread through the zones, but average weighted power was distinctly average.

It’s the first time I’ve had an issue but I never download the route like advised so might be down to me being lazy , still like it more than Zwift

That's what happens when you look at the wrong ride on Strava.

It felt like a big effort and both Heart rate and Power were Z4 plus a fair bit of Z5 - great fun thanks to @Barbes66 and Lars, and another excellent route!

How do you know he would be there when you couldn’t see him? Did not see him at all.

Just based on last week when we were wheel to wheel. Obvs I couldn't know for certain but it was a good motivator to think that you and he would be thereabouts.

So was he with you and Lars when you caught me, or was he with me when I thought I was riding solo? On my screen neither he nor Rod moved in the ranking after a few seconds.

Reckon so. I was getting draught off both Lars and @Barbie66, and stayed with them for almost the whole of the race, presumably they weren't getting draught off me when I was leading.

👆this ! This is what kept me going when I thought others were stuck on the line - I thought , if they were stuck on the line , they would quit , but the numbers were reading so they could appear at any time so I was in panic mode !
