Thanks for jinxing me. I had a tight shifter cable so started to replace it 2 hours before the race but I accidentally pulled out the inner sleeve I use. I’m just now finish up.

My turbo died half way through the race. I think it’s at least partly my own fault too. After the chat the last few days on here about different turbos, power readings etc, I inadvertently cursed myself by thinking how well my turbo was running. It’s a bit like when you think to yourself; “Man, I’ve not had a puncture in ages”, you’re almost guaranteed to instantly get a puncture!
For what it’s worth it doesn’t count as an excuse because it chose to die a while after Craig chose to drop me!
I’m just hoping it’s not terminal now.

I wondered what had happened to you Tommy. We were working pretty well up until then. After you dropped off, the guy who caught us hung about and we took turns until he took the sprint. He doesn't appear on the results page though - not sure why - so it appears like I podiumed but didn't.

Yeah annoying mate. You were going very well though I thought, and I was just hanging on really.
I’m hoping I can get the turbo repaired. I think it’s an electrical failing but there seems to be a couple of companies that repair them.
