Tektro brakes married to Shimano hose?

I´m in the process of fitting a Giant Conduct hydraulic brake kit to a cargo bike and need at least 2 metres of hose. BH90 hose in that length is cheap and readily available, whereas long Tektro hose is neither. Does anybody on here have experience of attaching the 5 mm Shimano hose to interfaces designed to take 5.5 mm hose?

I can't find the answer to this question either. Did you try it out and did it work? I have the same problem.
