Live coverage of the Dauphine?
Eurosport 1, from 1425 UK because there's Tour of Slovenia from noon, and a repeat of some dancing on clay with fuzzy balls on first.

Looks to be on TNT 3 too, but I can't check for sure.

Also on France 3 from 1440 UK. Isn't usually on Rai because they show Tirreno-Adriatico instead.

Tour de Suisse is live on L'Equipe all week, today's coverage starts at 1310.

SBS have just launched a series called "TDF defining stages" and it's half hour highlights of the defining stage of each Tour going back to 2011. Obviously a lean towards Aussie riders (Jayco TTT and Cadel on the Galibier) but it's a good nostalgia trip

You've spelt Carlton Kirby wrong ;)

Totally agree 😀. Carlton made watching cycling almost impossible. Rob has his faults, but at least he understands what is going on in the race in front of him and knows who the riders are.

I quite like Carlton

OK - he does talk some rubbish and go on about stuff

but I often end up laughing at how bad it is

especially on the long long live coverage of the whole day ones where "a break goes of at the start and settles down to a 5 minute lead that will clearly remain all day" situation happens within the first 10 minutes

Having caught up with the Dauphine, I have just switched to watching Switzerland.
With 75kms to go, Kirby has read out the entire startlist as possible stage winners.
By 55kms to go he’s repeated this, three times.
The only relevant info has been to say that there are a few minor climbs.

He’s just an appalling excuse for a commentator.

His work has given me a lot more respect for Sean Kelly. I doubt the gig pays all that well, so Sean must have the patient of a saint to put up with all that drivel, not to mention inane facile insults thrown his way.
