Sadly the media are inclined to do that with anyone that shows some promise, then they drop them like a hot potato when they start losing. What a pressure on up and coming sportspeople these days. No wonder most of them need psychologists in their camp.

Good final I thought, I was rooting for Zverev, purely because I haven't really warmed to Sinner.

Great to see him get the first set, and several flashes of what could have been, but Sinner blew him off the court eventually, stunning level of play.

Was it not more related to the quality/cost/expertise of the legal team he/his team employed to fight the case for him?

I do agree it was pretty odd, and there was quite a bit of disquiet amongst fellow players at the time, but that seems to have been forgotten about since.

He did get a 3-month ban to be fair (although you will rightly point out it didn't cover any Slams ... )

It was the equivalent of a finger wagging and being sent to bed without pudding for one night.

I don't recall it being mentioned in any of the tournaments I've watched him play in since either (it may have been, I haven't watched them all).
