Ironic, as I'm probably the person least likely to want to wild camp!
I've only used it a couple of times, and find it works perfectly well for me.
A tip I saw on a touring website, BTW, and have listed in the touring tips above, is to get a tiny little LED torch, something that won't get turned on too easily by mistake (so maybe a twist switch, not a push button) and hang it inside the tent, where it can be rolled up in the whole package, and you always know you have a light in the tent, in a set place.
