What a shame, I thought he was older than 77 to be honest.

I like Skol

A Minging Manc...
Very sad. Loved listening to his radio breakfast show from my mid twenties as a professional driver and would often be in stitches at the wheel as a result of the humour he so skilfully shared. He made it all seem so spontaneous and effortless but I'm sure he worked incredibly hard behind the scenes. Would often just have to sit in my van to hear the end of a story when arriving at a customers premises.
Mornings just weren't the same when he finally stopped his breakfast show.....

Always reminds me of going to work with my dad. His humour was soft, gentle, self effacing. Few could have got away with Janet and John, but you trusted Terry not to go too far. His Eurovision commentaries were legendary.
A great talent sorely missed.

Because he worked in 'light entertainment' I don't think he has got the credit he deserves as a communicator and performer. His ability to hold an audiance, his comic timing, professionalism, fast thinking and empathy should be celebrated.

I think his peers did

When you look at the people who chose Terry's show to make big announcements

Also the way he handled things was superb, and it was almost as if he was a close friend rather than an interviewer
