Went to Sainsbury's the other week with my dad, who has been collecting Nectar points for the last year or so on his expenses/credit card purchases. He was waiting for Sainsburys to send him some vouchers like Tesco do.

I asked the lady behind the counter to print off a balance for him. He had £1,950.00 worth of nectar points! And he still refused to buy me a 50 inch Sony LCD TV they had there for £699.00 tight git!

They do indeed get carried over. I use mine to pay my fare on Eurotunnel when I go on holiday, so I get four times the face value off my ticket price. With double points, it means that for every pound I spend, I effectively get 8p off my holiday tickets - not bad eh?

They get carried over, also the date on the vouchers is usually quite long 2 years i think.
I use mine to get my annual RAC cover,£25 in vouchers = £100 of cover:biggrin:

Being "technical" here (or awkward??) yes they do not cancel the voucher if you do not use it, but they do not add it onto the voucher for the next quarter, you just have to keep hold of the first voucher (s) and use them all together. I think they have a 2 year date on them..

My daughter works in Boots and people often have hundreds and hundreds of Boots points, but won't use them and they are worthless for anything else.

That's why we ride bicycles ;)

I am lucky in that there is hardly any change in elevation between my house and my local tescos and so when I've got my "old clunker" (3-speed Raleigh that was made shortly after the Earth cooled) up and running properly, I might make a trailer for it! The car drivers are gonna love me ...

That's not because I don't have a car, I do, and it's a beast of a machine! I just prefer to get some exercise at the same time as going shopping.

It's either them losing a few stores (coop and somerfield stores tend to go in clusters) or another competition commission ruling. My local somerfield was forced to be sold on by the CC . Now it's a Tescos and guess what brand spanking conversion, no cycle parking...

I would be inclined to wheel the bike around the store:evil:
