Texas spends millions on advertisements for tourism. It is a beautiful state with some great people there. But these incidents appear to be not at all uncommon, and I find that unfortunate. People, protesting a motorists actions, should not be quashed by the barrel of a gun. Keep safe, marzjennings.

A most unfortunate and uncivilized turn of events. Always a part of the culture over here, but made worse by such organizations as the National Rifle Association, and the American Legislative Exchange Council, or ALEC, who passed around a lot of these "Stand Your Ground Laws" with recent tragic events in Florida .

That should provide you with some information, from both sides of the equation. I always liked shooting sports, but grew up around guns and would never think of using them to harm or threaten others, which should carry a charge of assault with a deadly weapon in most parts. Conversely, our last Mens' Parish Breakfast had a nice time at the Gun Range, Sporting Clays.
