Sorry to see folk who can't make the ride. I've had a few requests at the office to do this again, so may look at one more in late September / early October and probably on a Saturday.

Did a final recce this morning. The canal is watered again. I've added a little diversion - not quite the Thames Path but interesting nonetheless. I've also managed to remove nearly all of the 'on-road' section between Greenwich and the Dome, thereby avoiding the Blackwall Tunnel approach (found a re-located entrance onto the Path). Unfortunately there are still roadworks in Greenwich so we will have to walk the bikes a bit for the observatory diversion.

I can clearly state that there will be cake provided at some point on this ride, but will not say what kind, when or where - you'll just have to be there.
