On my way about 1 then a group of three stopped to help the only thing was they didn’t have a 16mm or a adjustable to help but was nice of theme to try
If you are on this forum thank you very much
Got to the blue bell pub spotted a garage behind it he had the right spanner so fixed it and carried on riding my bike home

I have a Topeak Alien II. Has all you will ever need, plus a few more ... with the exception of an adjustable spanner, so I also carry one of those.

You may also want to carry a puncture repair kit, spare tube(s), tyre levers, pump and the ever useful cable ties.

To keep clean add in a couple of pairs of shop gloves and a small packet of baby wipes

I carry:

A range of flat spanners (made from pressed metal, not forged. Not the best tools ever, but light weight and takes up little space - Good for emergencies)
A multi-tool including a range of allen keys and screwdrivers.
A chain tool & spare link
Puncture repair kit including tire levers
Spare tubes
Cable ties
Presta/Shrader valve adapter
Small section of rag material/cloth
