I have just done a 20 miler and it's mad out there. I think people's minds are on anything else except driving at the moment. I wont mention the error I made and cut a delivery lorry up on a roundabout!

A couple of weeks off will do me good then start a gentle build up for longer Spring rides.

I still ride but am very wary at this time of year .On a short ride I spotted a car turn into a pedestrian precinct seemingly unaware despite the curb,signs and complaints of the peds Another car in front of me at a junction stopped at a green light then proceeded on the red. I almost filtered past him but luckilly decided against it. Car coming other way had to take evasive action.
