Puzzle game procrastinator!
Strava time 46 mins but I did stop for a couple of mins . Power average 215w that's a tad over 3w/kg . It's the hardest climb I've ever done .If I had lower gears I may had be able to spin up more but my 36/34 had me standing up on the steep ramps
Ouch!

It would probably take me over an hour then. I haven't checked for a while but last time I was only at about 2.5 W/kg.

55.55 miles in the Sun with friends - to celebrate 55 clicks around the Sun: and on my actual Birthday 🎉🎂🎁

Gorgeous day. Perfect temps. Only blighted by one dropping out 1/2 way with stomach cramps 😳 And it being headwind all the way home……

Very slow / relaxed day for me. Amazing with all these ‘youngsters’ riding: i’m the oldest, on the heaviest bike - and seemingly the fittest by some margin 🤷‍♂️ The pace was everything some guys can manage. That aside: it’s just really good to get a Group of friends riding together……. 👊

Nice Morning all in all 😁

Volunteered to marshall at my cycling clubs Hill Climb this morning, cycled out from Bristol to Wotton Under Edge via Coalpit Heath & Kingswood to the HQ at The Star Pub in Wotton.
A good field of 35 riders had entered inc. the best HC 'er in the country, Andrew Feather also riding was GCN 's Ollie.
I left the pub to take up my marshalling position on the junction of Old London Rd. & Rushmire Hill.
Some very good performances but nobody could match Feather who literally flew up the hill in under 5 minutes ... 😳
Which was a new course record !
Coffee & cake for me back at the pub before the ride back via Charfield & Iron Acton.

You've under-stated your kms in the challenge thread - I reckon it's about 88km??

Right !

It’s 89.4km.

Looks like I’ve hit a zero when typing instead of a 9.

Well spotted 🙏

A few old men have done the Bay Cycle Way a few times, easy for me to arrange due to my caravan in Grange. "Shall we do it the other way this time"? said Alan.
Hells bells, not sure if it was the strong gusty wind and showers or the difference in the steepness of the climbs or a combination of all of the above but day two was a slog. The climb up from Greenodd was a real struggle, just before the summit my HR went over 180 so I walked the last 50 metres or so. I have done this ride many times the "normal" way and only really struggled on the climb up Bigland. We all agreed it was a lot tougher the "wrong" way.
