You know what, I'm a man of discernment and all that bollox, and I like to eat well whenever possible, but when I eat out, it's as much about the company as the grub.
Possibly too many sub clauses and commas in that sentence and I'd be obliged if @User13710 would proof read it for me.

I was up north once and went to a Michelin star restaurant. I knew it was posh when I saw it had 2 types of vinegar and plastic rather than wooden forks to eat it with.

I was up north once and went to a Michelin star restaurant. I knew it was posh when I saw it had 2 types of vinegar and plastic rather than wooden forks to eat it with.
I believe the food has to be eaten off a piece of slate or, at the very least, a piece of hardwood to qualify for Michelin status.
