last night I was fitting some lights to my road bike, I was thinking How it spoiled the lines of the bike.
I was trying to hide the light under the seat, but would not fit, so had to put it on the stem of the seat.

I kind of managed to hide the front light under the front handlebar stem,
I just like the sleek flowing lines of the bike.

I could do with another road bike. 1 for the dry commute to work with lights on (take the MTB if its raining)
And a second road bike for dry weekend rides.

Bikes are for riding. Just get on with that bit. Unless there is a mirror moving along with you you can't see the "lines of the bike" while riding

Indeed one only needs to keep the front part of the bike clean .....

My bike's always look good to me, because I recall the great rides we went on together . My touring/commuting bike has heaps of things attached to it, so I almost feel like I need to radio the control tower for takeoff clearance before I start pedaling!
