In the episode 'Metamorphosis'. I liked the way Enterprise continued the plot line that he vanished en route to a colony.

There is a flaw in that film. At the end Worf says that moon hid their warp signature so the Vulcans did not spot it. Then no long after on Earth the woman looks up and sees the Enterprise above in the sky as it enters warp.
