What I need answering is why does every fired candidate wear a scarf when they get in the taxi?

They film them all in one go at the start. It's to hide what they were wearing when they actually got binned.

Not quite, the process lasts 9 weeks, it was filmed from early April. They don’t film them all getting in a taxi all in one go, then divvy the footage up.

I know, they film them individually, over a period of a few hours, sorry I wasn't clear.

16 people in the back of a black cab would leave no room for the film crew!
