Of course - we may get an Australian 'A' side

Errol Flynn, Lord Hawke, Rupert Murdoch, Dame Nellie Melba, Robin Gibb, Waltzing Matilda, Michael Hutchence, Julian Assange, Pat Cash, Capt Cook, Mrs Mangel...

Hello Jonathan - it is about time we had an expert on this thread!
Grahame and Dad Stan were in Barbados - I was only thinking of them this morning...you must have got the 'thought waves'!
I'd like to add Max Ramsay to the second eleven. He adds that 'What you havin' mate?' to the mix...and if Daphne and Maria were doing the teas...

This is getting more 'Erinsborough CC' by the minute. Someone will be arranging Home and Away fixtures next.

There's more. My thoughts for Daphne led me here.
I'll qualify my Neighbours interest by saying that I was in charge of my son (born 6th January 1986) - doing freelance stuff but always available to be sick upon at about 13:15 while he had his afternoon nap in my arms. (Repeated at 17:40 approx) Shane was a nice boy too...a very, very nice boy. Des Clarke was a bore of the first order...

Back to the cricket - I'm watching the highlights now, and note that Swann hit Johnson out of the attack!

Swann upping...
...the ante.
I have been trying to imagine the dressing room 'vibe' of the Australian XI. Glen McGrath is probably giving them a pep talk as I write.

It must be like a wake in there...

It's a draw in the football at the moment: Australia 0 United Arab Emirates 0

No great sheikhs there either...

That result is really something to make the cold winter much brighter, a really good team effort on the field a good 'barmy army' support off the field!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
