England now have to knuckle down and get as many runs as possible. Time is not an issue as they probably thought they'd be batting sometime after lunch tomorrow, so slow, grinding cricket is what is needed, not extravagant stuff, although if the ball is there to be hit, then to the boundary it should go.

I think Hazlewood is most like the English seamers: hopefully he, and the others will not be effective! Some hope.

Does Lyth's Test career rest on his next innings?

Does Lyth's Test career rest on his next innings?

Probably not - the question of who to replace him with is still there - tho if he gets out to a couple of very poor shots for not many the pressure will definitely be on

Blimey, only popped out for half an hour and they were off for rain when I left! Let's see how we go before getting too excited. I'm flying out to Oz next Monday so hoping for something a bit respectable to greet them with .

Sounds as though he was playing a shot he should have left alone.

It was a big slash outside off

The current partnership is scoring at over 6 an over.

I know I'm repeating myself, but I can't get over how heavily periods of the game have gone in the favour of one team.
