Saturday - Lords -2nd ODI Aussies lead 1 - 0

Wheels fell of the Brave New World on Thursday after Rashid put England in a good place in the Aussie innings - simply didnt get through the Aussie lower order - England made a good start in their innings and were in control for a time but nobody from the top order went on to make a big score and at the end the Aussie quicks were too good for the middle lower order

Second innings for this thread, but there have been some exciting developments in @Dayvo homeland...(who are always on the edgy side of 'straight up and down' )

It will be interesting to see how the abolition of the toss in Div 2 goes next season - might bring about some interesting results - but I doubt it will down to the sudden appearance of a clutch of world class spinners - Merci Beucoup for the link to the Guardian article wrt balls (similar article but kookaburra orientated on cricinfo)

brave new world of England 50 over continues in UAE following a not very good performance in the tests - T20 is on the menu tomorrow

They should get rid of the toss for test matches after the first game. Toss-up for the first match and then alternate.
