The saddest thing about this, is the fans in the ground, biting finger nail, all pumped up, probably drunk, and now going home thoroughly disappointed. Not a very good advert for the game is it.
I think winning the series 3-0 means England take the upper hand into the next series !If the Aussies did truly slow up play to get the game stopped for a draw, then England will take the upper hand to the winter series.
I think today's cricket just wouldn't be cricket were the umpires not to abide by the laws of the game. The saddest thing about this, is the fans in the ground, biting finger nail, all pumped up, probably drunk, and now going home thoroughly disappointed. Not a very good advert for the game is it.

It's a bunch of money types sitting in Dubai, few if any of them are ex-cricketers of any note, and they are beholden to the BCCI and other sources of Indian cash. That is all well and good, but the members of ICC are paid a lot of money to oversee and control these tests. Surely someone must have seen this scenario playing out one day.

10. Or simply use the technique that has seen me through more than 40 years of Ashes following down under. Go to bed while wearing an earpiece and listening to Test Match Special. You will drift in and out of consciousness in a pleasant way and wake up suddenly at six in the morning with Geoffrey Boycott exclaiming: "That were roobish, were that. My granny could have played that with a stick of rhubarb." Or was it "caught it in her pinny"? I was only half awake at the time, as I will be till early January.
No baby around here but I did the same. But I'm not surprised the baby was crying. So, I was up in the night twice with baby and we managed to lose eight wickets in the two hours between me checking the score. I appear to have been transported back to 1995.
Rain dances commencing already..!
