A few more:

Claude Butler Dalesman, Cheltenham, £150 (Muppetplace)

Looks like a nice old steel tourer for sensible money..

Dawes Galaxy, Tunbridge Wells, £100 (Muppetplace)

Apparently a later one; seems like a silly-good spec for the money (bar end shifters, discs) even if it does need a bit of work. Tbh were it local I'd probably have had this given the price.

Raleigh Gemini, March, £250 (Muppetplace)

Slightly on the fence about this since it's a nice, old, relatively rate frame that's been "customised" - that said I think it works fantastically; with the V-brakes really being the only thing that separates it from more modern gravel / adventure bikes that cost so much more for the privilege of steel, and lack the glorious retro aesthetic of the straight top tube and internally-lugged fork. Just about pulls off the pink while managing to look hard as nails IMO. Another I'd have been hard-pushed to pass over had it been closer.. actually really bloody want this

Others that were spotted but sold before this post went up - a nice, early black and white Genesis CdF on ebay for £400 and a recent Genesis TdF 10 for a bargain £350 in Glasgow...

Moar, because I have so many more important things to do (avoid ):

All dredged from the bowels of FB Muppetplace:

Jamis Aurora, Cheltenham, £180:

These seem like a good value steel tourer / utility bike anyway; this appearing to be a particularly well-priced example..

Fuji Touring, London, £250:

Seems like a reasonable price. Same spec as mine which (after some TLC) I very much love

Holdsworth Brevet(?), Corsham, £250:

Not familiar with this particular bike nor keen on the aesthetic, but it's steel with mudguards, rack and STIs for not a huge amount of money. Has been on there for weeks too, so could probably be haggled down..

Ridgeback World Voyage(s), Accrington, £100:

Evidently small frames so not for everyone, but seem like a steal for a cheap tourer or utility hack..

Dawes Horizon(?), Glossop, £100:

Not too keen in the deep down-tubes on these, but again seems like very little money for a steel tourer with STIs, proper lugged fork, Brookes saddle and many other accessories:

Granted it's a bit of a niche market, but there seems to be a lot about if you're after budget steel for a bit of utility or touring work; if only I had a larger shed!
