Finished, inspired by a 70's CBS Era Stratocaster, H.S.S, body is in natural finish mahogany, Guyker locking tuners & 6 Screw Tremolo, roller string trees & alnico 5 loaded pick guard, with Schaller strap lock buttons, well chuffed by how it turned out, with a little wood butchery to get everything to fit.

Very nice, how does it play? Would be extra nice if you could get the finish on the headstock to match the body but I do like that natural look.

So far so good, took a little tweaking to set up, but it sounds very good, the pickup heights were a bit fiddly trying to get the single coils to have a bit of a kick without creating weird warbles etc, then bring the humbucker up so that the output is balanced, I was going to stain the neck, but decided against it, the Tru-Oil has definitely brought out the grain of the maple, leaving a satin finish, to which it's had a couple of coats of carnauba wax to make it as slick as possible, the tremolo is one with a brass block, with a push in arm, and it does seem to sustain for a decent length of time, the tuners are 18:1 ratio and allow the tuning to be done more gradually then I'm used to, but are very smooth, I also went for a Switchcraft output jack, which has very firm grip on the cable plug, it's a bit on the heavy side, but I'm pleased with it, you can order one very similar from Fender's Mod Shop for about £1900, this one cost a heck of a lot less!

Gear4Music body?

That's the one £49.99, it just needed the neck pocket opening up by about 2 mm, and the trem route opening up about 4 mm, so it would all fit, but the poly finish is very good, other outlets were from about £150 upwards, so worth doing some fettling!
other than that, I put copper shielding tape in the routes, & had to drill a hole for the earth wire that goes to the trem claw
