Found this on youtube showing some of the species of fish washed ashore after the tsunami in 2004.

Some of them look like sci-fi fish!

Weird. Enough to put you off scuba diving!

Didn't see any pilchards though!

I've got a mate who was actualy in the water scuba diving when the wave came right over him, he then said it then started raining sand underwater, if you get my meaning! It obviously wasn't where the wave was strongest, but I still reckon he was lucky! him and his girlfriend then spent a miserable couple of months trying to help out, even after that they didn't leave they stayed their for two years teaching.
